Chumley's Depot: A Dive Bar Delight in Melbourne

My buddy and I stopped in before #NXTMelbourne on June 28 and I had a shot of Tequila and a Miller Lite he had a Bud Lite. We both ordered food, I had a great hamburger & fries he had a Quesadilla and said it was good. Met a nice woman sitting next to me at the bar and discussed the difference between Bourbon & Whiskey with her. I'd definitely return.

Atmosphere was okay, nothing about the place says come on back for another visit. The food (wings, fries, pierogi) was garbage. They had two young men back there cooking so not sure if they are the regular cooks. Ordered ranch with wings and it didn't come with wings. Reminded the bartender and she did not get ranch until 15 minutes later. My drink remaind empty until I left and she did not ask if I needed anything else (she needs to be retrained) as a bartender.

Great dive bar, one of Melbourne's best. Cheap beer great service, one of the best bars on the space coast. They have good wings (I'm born and raised outside of buffalo NY and picky about wings). This is the spot.

Cold PBR and crispy tots! Perfect dive bar with patio and a yard. Very reasonable and all the food is great.

You should totally try this place on your downtown Melbourne visit. The wings were ginormous and very tasty. Plenty of beers on tap. Live entertainment on a regular basis, the afternoon comedy show was loads of fun. Eagles fans take note, this might be your spot to root on the Birds, despite Dez the bartender who’s from Philly but somehow she’s a Steelers fan. You will have a good time hanging out at this cool locals spot.

I work nearby and have never heard anything but good reviews about this place. It is THE spot to hit downtown. Staff is awesome, food is bangin- chicken tenders are killer, and one of their seasonal staff recently recommended I try the lemon pepper wings with ranch… 100% recommend. Markus’s hot sauce is also killer (and he’s a really incredibly guy). Everything is reasonably priced and it’s a fixture in downtown.

They make their own pork rinds. They’re like $4.50 and good. stilling crackling when they hand them over. They have better beer on tap then the brewery next door. Honestly wish I had more time to spend here and try some more food. They have an outdoor bar area and little patio which is great for acting cool I know I was doing some of this myself when I was here.
